This privacy notice is provided pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code) and describes how personal data of users visiting the website www.sunset-palmi.it is processed. The Cookie Policy is an integral part of this document.

2. Types of data processed

While you browse, the site's systems and technical services automatically collect certain data:

server logs, such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser user-agent and any error data;
pseudonymous analytics data collected by Google Analytics only after consent, such as pages visited, session duration, device and country;
IP address, page URL and the fixed coordinates of Sunset Beach Club sent to Open-Meteo to display sea temperature. The device's location is not collected.

We do not collect names, email addresses or phone numbers through the website (no active contact forms). Any communication you send us by email or phone will be processed only to respond to your request and will not be used for promotional purposes.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Site functioning (technical cookies): the legal basis is the Controller's legitimate interest in providing a working service (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Hosting delivery and security (Aruba technical logs): the legal basis is the legitimate interest in making the site available and protecting it (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Sea temperature (Open-Meteo API): the legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing useful information about the venue (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Aggregate statistics (Google Analytics 4): the legal basis is your free, explicit and revocable consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), given through the cookie banner.
Replying to your requests (email/phone): the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

4. Retention period

Google Analytics identifier cookies: approximately 13 months;
Google Analytics user-level and event-level data: no longer than 14 months, according to the property configuration; aggregated reports may be retained longer;
individual Open-Meteo logs: up to 90 days, according to the provider's notice;
Aruba technical logs: for the period required to deliver and secure the service, in accordance with contractual settings and applicable obligations;
Consent cookie: 180 days
Email communications: for the time needed to handle the request, max 24 months

5. Recipients of the data

Data may be processed by Aruba S.p.A., the hosting provider, and by Google Ireland Limited, the Google Analytics provider, in the roles established by their respective data processing agreements. OpenMeteo GmbH receives the technical data needed to answer weather requests made by the homepages.

Google may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients and, where necessary, Standard Contractual Clauses. OpenMeteo GmbH is based in Switzerland, a country recognised as adequate by the European Commission. We do not share data with other parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

6. External services and links

Fonts and stylesheets used by the main pages are hosted on the site's own domain. The homepages contact Open-Meteo solely to display sea temperature. Google Analytics is loaded only after consent to analytics cookies.

Reviews attributed to Tripadvisor are displayed as text and do not load resources from Tripadvisor's servers. Links to Tripadvisor, social networks, stores, booking services and partner websites transfer data to their respective operators only when you choose to open them; their own privacy notices then apply.

7. Your rights

Pursuant to articles 15-22 GDPR you have the right to:

access your personal data
request rectification or erasure
request restriction of processing
object to processing
request data portability
withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal)
